We source our ingredients with care, working to ensure we use ethical and sustainable practices in our supply chain, including supplier diversity and human rights.
We launched our Supplier Diversity Program in 2005 to grow an inclusive and socially responsible workplace and build stronger, more equitable communities. Today, we remain dedicated to developing a supplier base that reflects our diverse communities, employees, and consumers.
We’re actively building a pipeline of diverse suppliers. We’re also working to make our RFIs (Request for Information), RFPs (Request for Pricing/Proposal), and Reverse e-Auction more inclusive. It’s good for our communities and it’s good for our business.
As part of our Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) strategy, in 2020 we announced a goal to grow supplier diversity spend by 25% over three years. We surpassed this goal in fiscal 2021, two years ahead of schedule.

We partnered with The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) to assess the social and environmental risk in our ingredient supply chain. Based on this risk assessment, we have 10 priority raw materials where we focus our efforts: almonds, cashews, cheese, chicken, chocolate, palm oil, paper packaging, potatoes, tomatoes and wheat.
We’re also a member of Sedex. Through this collaboration, we continue to build transparency in our ingredient supply chains.
