As part of the company’s new growth strategy, Campbell is focused on
increasing its international presence, particularly in emerging markets.

Saw joins Campbell from Lee Kum Kee, a 124-year-old Chinese company that
manufactures Asian condiments, including chili, oyster and soy sauces.
Since 2009, he has served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of Lee
Kum Kee’s board of directors. Prior to that, he was President of the
company’s China Region. Under Saw’s leadership, Lee Kum Kee’s sales in
China tripled from 2007 to 2011. During a career spanning more than 30
years, he has held a range of senior leadership and sales and marketing
positions with Philip Morris, Kraft and Cadbury in China, Taiwan and
Indonesia.

Denise Morrison, Campbell’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said,
“Expanding our presence in Asia, and Greater China in particular,
continues to be a priority for Campbell. I am confident that Daniel’s
strong track record of leading and developing successful food businesses
in Greater China and across Asia will complement and enhance the efforts
of our existing international leadership in the region. We look forward
to having Daniel be a part of the team that advances our international
expansion.”
