Jane Krakowski Celebrates Heart Month by Wearing One-of-a-Kind Red Dress That America Selected to Help Raise Funds for American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women(R)

CAMDEN, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 12, 2009–
Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) took the fight against heart
disease to the red carpet with fashion, food and entertainment playing
leading roles. Television, film and Broadway star Jane Krakowski of
NBC’s “30 Rock” and celebrated runway designer Nicole Miller starred in
Campbell’s “AdDress Your Heart” program to help raise funds and
awareness for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women
movement. Because heart disease is the number one killer of women,
Campbell – the maker of an increasing variety of heart-healthy soups,
beverages and sauces – is encouraging women to protect their hearts.

People across the country voted online for their favorite of three
exclusive dresses created by Miller. In celebration of American Heart
Month, Krakowski showcased the designs at the Woman’s Day Red
Dress Awards gala and encouraged women to take charge of their
heart-health.

“Knowing that more than 44 million women are affected by heart disease1,
makes me realize how important it is to take steps, such as eating right
and exercising, to help protect your heart,” said Krakowski. “I hope my
involvement will raise awareness for the cause and help educate women of
all ages about the importance of knowing their risk factors and living a
healthful lifestyle.”

From now until March 2, 2009, people can continue to support the cause
by clicking on the winning dress at CampbellsAddressYourHeart.com.
For each click, Campbell will make a $1 donation to the American Heart
Association’s Go Red For Women movement (up to $275,000).

Nicole Miller: Designs From the Heart

Miller is as dedicated to creating glamorous dresses as she is to the
fight against heart disease. A long-time supporter of the cause, she
says she’s excited to participate in a program that helps reinforce the
fact that heart disease can affect anyone, at any time in their life.

“In my work, I find inspiration from many things, including my passion
for helping people live well, feel good and, of course, look great,”
said Miller. “Each of the designs I created for this program comes from
my heart to inspire women, in a fun and fashionable way, to be and stay
healthy.”

Campbell’s Heart-Felt Commitment

Campbell Soup Company is committed to promoting heart health through the
products it makes and the causes it supports. In addition to
contributing $1.8 million to the American Heart Association, Campbell
has offered a wide variety of great-tasting products that fit into a
heart-healthy lifestyle for more than 25 years. To further support the
cause this year, the company expanded its “AdDress Your Heart” awareness
efforts by joining forces with The Heart Truth campaign,
sponsored by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, which aims to
increase awareness of the risk of heart disease in women.

Translating awareness into action, registered dietitian and author
Elizabeth Somer says while some risk factors are hereditary, diet and
lifestyle are two key things people can control to help protect their
hearts. Campbell is one of the leading food companies that are helping
to make it easy and enjoyable for people to find and eat nutritious
foods.

“One of the most important things you can do to protect your heart is
eat right and exercise, yet many people think it is difficult to do,”
said Somer. “What they might be surprised to learn is that many of their
favorite foods, like soup, vegetable juice and pasta sauces can all be
part of a heart-healthy diet and they offer things like vegetables,
fiber and antioxidants.”

In fact, Campbell offers a wide selection of great-tasting products that
fit into a heart-healthy lifestyle including Campbell’s®
Healthy Request
® soups, which add a one-of-a-kind
lower sodium natural sea salt and deliver great taste with up to 50%
less sodium than their original counterparts, Low Sodium V8®
100% vegetable juice and Prego® Heart
Smart Italian sauces. Visit CampbellsAddressYourHeart.com
