We strengthen and empower vibrant communities in our hometowns and support the neighborhoods where our employees live and work. It’s core to who we are and what we value. And it’s the commitment we make as a company that cares.
Our community work is focused on three core areas: Increasing food access, encouraging healthy living, and nurturing Campbell’s neighborhoods.
Through food distribution programs, school nutrition initiatives, incentives like fresh food vouchers, innovative food access points, and community gardens, we help ensure our communities have access to fresh, nutritious, and affordable food.
Cathedral Kitchen is the largest emergency food provider in Camden, New Jersey. Established over 40 years ago, they serve more than 100,000 nutritious meals a year to food insecure individuals in the area, in addition to providing culinary job training and various support services. The Campbell’s Foundation supports the organization with grants and employees volunteer from our Camden headquarters. We also partner with Cathedral Kitchen to bring our chefs on-site to conduct training as part of their culinary program’s curriculum.
We know that access to good food is just one piece of the puzzle. To build healthy, vibrant communities, people need to eat better and move more. So we support initiatives to promote nutrition education and encourage physical activity.
The Food Bank of South Jersey is an official partner of Cooking Matters, a program started by Share Our Strength that empowers families with the knowledge and skills to cook and shop for nutritious foods on a budget. With programs for kids, adults, and families that are taught in schools, grocery stores, and other community settings, the Food Bank of South Jersey is helping to foster lifelong healthy habits.
Access to thriving public spaces can have a big impact on health in our local communities. We work to transform our hometowns with renovated parks, trails, bike lanes, and other safe spaces to play and be active.
In partnership with the local YWCA, we supported the revitalization of a public playground and park in our community of Hanover, PA.
To build on our work and expand our impact, we’re committed to achieving these five goals by 2025.

Since 1953, The Campbell’s Foundation has provided financial support to nonprofits in our hometown communities.
We empower our employees to give back to causes important to them. Through our program, we match charitable gifts, provide volunteer grants, and enable our employees to create an impact in their local communities.
When disaster strikes, our communities count on us to help. We take a two-tiered approach to disaster relief, starting with immediate food and financial aid followed by partnerships with local and national organizations to support long-term recovery.
Through our signature program, Full Futures, we strive to make healthy food more accessible in our communities through the creation of sustainable food systems and nutrition education programs.
Our signature community affairs program, Full Futures, is a 5-year, $5 million commitment to the school nutrition environment. Launched in 2021, Full Futures builds on our learnings to measurably advance the health of young people in Camden, New Jersey, Charlotte, North Carolina, and other locations where we have operations.
